Theory of Space
Yevhenii Stakhov

About the author

Yevhenii Stakhov is an independent researcher and the author of Theory of Space. He studied computer systems and networks.

When the idea that we may be living inside a simulation became popular, he decided to test it the way an engineer would: if the world is a program, what kind of network could it be running on? Answering that meant learning quantum physics and topology, and the result is Volume 1 — a model of space built from tetrahedra and octahedra, where every claim is ranked as an invariant, a hypothesis or a prediction. It is the first book of a series, and each next one will require learning a new discipline.

The series follows an old idea. The Pythagoreans built geometry from the first numbers: one is a point, two a line, three a plane, four a solid (the tetractys). Reading the numbers geometrically leads to the same sequence, and each number gets its own character:

And then? The author is in no hurry to say. This reading is his interpretation, not an established result.

Volume 1 is available on Amazon as a paperback and a Kindle eBook.
